from Umbria
From Perugia take the E45 to Todi and then the SS448 towards Orvieto. Just after you cross the bridge over the Tiber you will reach Baschi railway station. Here turn left, following the signs for Castiglione in Teverina, Civitella d’Agliano and La Tana dell’Istrice. Once you reach Castiglione follow the signs for Civitella D'Agliano until you get to a crossroads signposted Civitella d’Agliano/Bagnoregio/Bomarzo. Take the road on the left towards Bomarzo and the A1 (SP19) and carry straight on until you reach the first of our signposts (with a picture of the Mottura porcupine), which is on the right-hand side of the road just in front of the “Battisti Cereali” silos. As indicated by the signpost, immediately after the Battisti silos turn right off the main road into Strada Ombricolo. Our winery is 900m ahead on your right.
from the north
If entering Lazio along the Via Cassia (SR2) from Florence or Sienna, follow signs for Bolsena and Bagnoregio. At Bagnoregio turn right towards Viterbo and then, about 4km further on, turn left following the signs for Civitella d'Agliano (at circa 10km).Pass straight through Civitella d’Agliano, leaving the “Municipio” (town hall) on your left, and then continue on through the hamlet of San Sebastiano, immediately after which the road widens slightly and a sharp turn on the right-hand side of the road leads down into Strada Ombricolo. Our winery is 900m ahead on your left.♦ From the A1 motorway (“autostrada”), leave the A1 at the Orvieto exit and turn left towards Todi and Castiglione in Teverina.1km further on turn right towards Castiglione in Teverina and Civitella d’Agliano. Pass under the railway bridge and towards Castiglione in Teverina. Leave the A1 motorway at the Attigliano exit. Turn left after the toll booths and follow the road for 2km until you get to a bridge over the Tiber. Cross the bridge and then take the first turning on the right, following the signs for Alviano, Orvieto, Castiglione in Teverina and Civitella d’Agliano. After circa 10km you will see the “Battisti Cereali” silos on your left. Immediately in front of them our signpost (with a picture of the Mottura porcupine) marks the turning into Strada Ombricolo. Our winery is 900m ahead on your right.
